Privacy Policy

When you use CellsDeal, we collect:

• Account details you provide — phone number (used to sign in via OTP), and optionally your name and email.
• Content you post — listings, photos, messages, reviews, and reports.
• Order details — shipping address and phone, and payment status (we never see or store your card, bKash, or Nagad PIN — those are handled directly by our payment partner, PayStation).
• Usage data — pages viewed, listing views, and device/browser information, used to keep the Platform working and secure.

We use your information to:

• Operate your account, listings, orders, and messages.
• Send you OTP codes, order updates, and in-app notifications.
• Detect fraud, spam, and Terms violations, and keep the Platform safe.
• Improve CellsDeal — for example, understanding which categories and searches are popular.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We share information only where necessary to run the Platform:

• Other users — your display name, and for sellers, your phone number and reviews, are visible to buyers you deal with. Your shipping address is shared only with the seller fulfilling that specific order.
• MiMSMS — to deliver OTP login codes by SMS.
• PayStation — to process online payments (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, cards).
• Cloudflare R2 — to host the photos and videos you upload.
• Law enforcement — only when required by Bangladeshi law, such as under a valid court order.

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after, to meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time, subject to records we're required to keep by law (such as completed order history).

• View and update your name and email any time in Account settings.
• Delete a listing, saved item, or review yourself from your dashboard.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting support.

Passwords and OTP codes are stored hashed, never in plain text. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) throughout the Platform. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

CellsDeal is not intended for use by anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy as CellsDeal grows. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
